The Role

We are seeking an Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Engineer with mandatory Oracle DBA experience to join our Sri Lanka team. This role requires a strong foundation in database administration along with hands-on expertise in Azure, Active Directory, and hybrid infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases (administration, performance tuning, backups, monitoring, and troubleshooting)
• Administer Active Directory (installation, configuration, and management of server and client machines)
• Oversee Azure AD / Entra ID, including hybrid integration with on-prem AD
• Configure and troubleshoot VPNs, firewalls, routing, and subnetting
• Perform Windows Server administration and ensure domain network security
• Handle incident response: service outages, access problems, and workstation issues
• Support cloud hosting services and hybrid infrastructure
• Implement IT security practices, including endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and secure access
• Plan and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Mandatory: Minimum 2 years of Oracle DBA experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and Active Directory management
• Solid understanding of networking principles: VPNs, firewalls, routing, and subnetting
• Familiarity with identity and access management (Azure AD, MFA)
• Experience in hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud)
• Ability to troubleshoot incidents effectively under pressure
• Scripting/automation (e.g., PowerShell) is an added advantage

Good to Have

• Knowledge of IFS Applications installation and administration
• Exposure to Windows DevOps automation and related tools
